Rising approximately 4,000 ft above its surrounding peaks, Aconcagua, “The Stone Sentinel”, dominates the rugged Andean landscape.   This route follows the Horcones Glacier (Standard Route) to Confluencia Camp.  It then traverses to the Polish Glacier.
